Beautiful Maryland Quilt - with Mary O'Haver

This beautiful quilt which is currently hanging at BWI Airport will be offered at Sisto’s by the designer of the quilt Maria O’Haver as a block of the month. During the next 13 months you will learn some of the following techniques: English paper piecing, lined appliqué, fused appliqué, paper piecing, fabric painting, machine appliqué, and curved piecing.
Cost is $30 per class
Class will be held the second Saturday of the month beginning 11/15, 10:30 - 1:30 pm

Thangles Buck-a-Block participants! 

Beginning February 2009, SISTO's will be starting a NEW  Thangles Buck-A-Block Program. Come into the store and sign-up. See the three color-ways that will be available. The rules are the same as last year. The monthly pattern and fabric are $1; if you miss a month the pattern and fabric are $3. Complete rules are at the store.

Sit and Sew Sessions Start at Sisto's

In response to requests from our customers, especially students in our classes, Sisto's is sponsoring "Sit and Sew" sessions every Wednesday from 10 - 4 pm starting in April. Participation is absolutely FREE, so come in anytime between 10 - 4 pm on Wednesday's with your sewing machine and a project your want to work on, and use our classroom without the interruption of kids, laundry, phones, pets...etc. Maybe you completed a class project but you need a little review on how to quilt it - we will try to help you.  Finish some of the UFO's sitting in your sewing room.  Bring friends and catch up on the news while you sew.  You don't need to sign up or register....just show up and SEW!!
